President’s Message – CCCC Board Meeting 12/15/25

The Board of Directors exists to make living in community a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Not a perfect experience but a comfortable one. Board decisions are made to relieve the burden of homeowners for maintenance of fencing, public grounds, tree maintenance, legal, financial, and bookkeeping tasks. We appoint committees that oversee the consistency of exterior style of homes and landscaping while ensuring that our homes are up to date with new products and services that may never even have existed 40 years ago.

The Board of Directors meets publicly once a month via a Zoom Conference Call and all homeowners are invited to virtually attend.  We do not hold private Board meetings however we do visit sites in the community that are brought to us by homeowners who need assistance in what they perceive as a community hazard, concern or liability. These are not “organized” meetings but a means to alleviate troublesome community issues and situations that will need decision making to resolution either by the Board, an appointed committee, or a community special meeting. The Board’s action and decisions made outside of the Zoom conference call are reported and recorded in the monthly minutes of the community Zoom meeting.

Homeowners are our eyes and ears who know about drainage, tree issues, varmints and intruders. With a set of Governing Documents, a budget planning process, landscape and architectural committees in place we keep The Close solvent and functioning. Board members are volunteers who exhibit a willingness to be elected and to serve in the interest of the over-all safety and comfort of Counselors Close residents.

Respectfully submitted,

Dianna Woolley, CCCC President, 12/15/25
